Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind are establishing a new dog walking group for people affected by mental health difficulties.
The group is part of their Get Active project, funded by ASICS, which aims to support those affected by mental health into physical activity.
Dog walking is a great way to stay active whilst having fun with our favourite furry friends.
The walk will be a gentle stroll around the Scarborough Seafront area and is a chance to meet like-minded people and have a chat whilst doing something physically active that can boost your mental health.
All are welcome, with or without dogs.
The dog walking group will meet every other Tuesday starting Tuesday 10th May from 11am-12pm. The route and meeting place will be decided and emailed to participants before each session.
The group is free to join. All you need to do is register at https://www.swrmind.org.uk/series/scarborough-dog-walking/ or contact the office on 01723 339838
