The Boys’ Brigade is the oldest uniformed youth organisation in the UK, founded in Glasgow in 1883 by Sir William Alexander Smith. Since then, the organisation has become an international force, working with young people from all types of nationalities and backgrounds. It provides work with children and young people that changes lives.
The 5th Scarborough Company is a part of Queen Street Methodist Church in the town centre.
Working with a team of registered officers and leaders who have been trained to the highest standards, members of the Company are valued and given the chance to release their potential for others and for themselves.
Working in a structured environment, young people are constantly breaking the boundaries of achievement through: Challenges, Competitions, Sport, Teamwork, Awards, Fun, Friendship and Adventure.
In an unashamedly Christian environment, with high expectations of behaviour, we aim to engage a generation.
